Technical Non-Ecstasy

Dear Anyone/Everyone,

I am very sorry for all the confusion. The main computer where the webmistress does all the editing is down and in need of repair. So for the time being, i.e. for the next 2 weeks or so, this will be the main page for news and updates.

I'm sorry that the new page fact/fiction/truth/desire has not gone up. But it will be the second the computer is repaired. I have been somewhat faithful to my promise and have new works ready to be posted.

My deep thanks to everyone who came out in the hellish weather on Saturday to see the Tribe's return to New York City. The band with the substitute bass player, Dante, stepped up to the plate and against the odds of mediocre stage gear, hit one out of the park. Honorary Tribe member Mike Kolber gave the performance a rave review. This is rare. Believe me. I firmly believe we were pushed over the top via the help of the newest member, Liz. All of her friends turned out and were amazingly supportive of a band that they really never saw before. Again, allow me to say that everybody on that stage was grateful for everybody in that audience.

Chris took a bunch of still photos that will be posted up here, and Josie was able to take some video snippets which I would also like to put up here. So stay tuned.

For the record, there was some rumor going around that we won some sort of round in some sort of competition or something like that, on Saturday night. I have no idea. Nobody approached me or told me anything. So maybe we will return there, and maybe we won't. However, we hope to return into the city the first weekend in August to do 2 hours of music at American Trash. This is still in the planning stages, so keep checking back for confirmation.

We are still looking for a bass player, though we still have to set up auditions for a few people.

Thanks for everything and stay in touch.

Peaces,
Mike
