julia
Our wonderful new cello player who has the unfortunate genetic predisposition to being prepared for a set of music with the Post-Modern Tribe. Chris Zadravec would state that this is three strikes against anybody in this tribe! Still, she did an amazing job for an even more amazing charity.
Vic
Really nice guy with some really cool songs who had the nads to perform a Ramones song (albeit it partly) acoustically.

Quasi-Update
So far there are five new songs written for the concept album. Two new songs that happen to fit may be dragged into the fold. This would bring the total to seven.
Maybe this is called progress.....

I hope Erica Martinucci can do the spoken word part. As of this writing she has said, "Ummmmmmmmm, maybe." There is someone else I want for the part but I have a feeling that the schedules we have are going to conflict, especially with what is going on in my life these days.
I'll keep you posted.....

First show with Julia
My heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to the show tonight, especially those who sang along to "What I Need." Also, I'd like to say:
1) Mike and Colleen were absolutely amazing. I only wish you could have stayed for the whole show...
2) It was an amazing first show for Julia, the new cello player. We all felt good about it and the fans of the Tribe who have seen cello players come and go gave her a very huge thumbs up.
3) Thanks to Pete and Mark for helping out and keeping the bar raised incredibly high.
4) This weekend I will be spending as many hours as I can writing songs for the rock opera/concept album. After seeing how well Julia played, how much fun it was to play with Mark and Dave and Pete, I realize that I have been given a Ferrari to drive and hope that I do it justice.
That's it. I'm tired. Good night. Here are some photos taken by the naturally curly goddess Christine Kossol. Click on any of the photos to see the full view.
